Housing units
Miami has experienced sustained growth for more than two decades, and every indication suggests there is much more to come. This has brought major benefits, but the cost of living has also risen exponentially, leaving many people unable to rent a home near their workplace.
Our purpose is to help meet this enormous unmet demand, enabling more families to access dignified housing through assistance programs that have existed since 1930.
Two models that serve different income levels and expand access to quality housing.
01A federal program in the United States that helps low-income individuals and families pay rent. Administered by HUD, it provides a rental subsidy directly to the landlord. Recipients pay part of the rent, generally a percentage of their income, while the program covers the balance.
Its goal is to ensure that low- and moderate-income families can access decent housing in safe areas.
02A type of residential development designed to help middle-income workers find accessible housing near their workplaces. It serves people with moderate incomes who still face challenges in high-cost markets.
It helps families who do not qualify for federal subsidies find reasonably priced rentals in high-demand areas.
Participants are selected from the Miami-Dade Public Housing and Community Development waiting list. They generally pay approximately 30% of their income toward rent, while the owner receives the difference through a Housing Assistance Payment (HAP).
Fair Market Rents (FMRs) determine the eligibility of rental units for the Housing Choice Voucher Program and serve as the payment standard used to calculate the subsidy.
We specialize in identifying strategic locations, negotiating property acquisitions, and designing projects that make the best use of the land—with one clear objective: deliver a quality building while maximizing the investment's return.
